How to Print Any Document From Your Android Device Latest Update
Today's smartphones have eliminated the need to keep a hard
copy of a document. But if there is something you should print, smartphones
with Android also allow you to do that. Unlike computers, smartphones are very
portable and using them to print photos or documents can save you a lot of
trouble. Printing from an Android smartphone is pretty easy, but starting with
it can be a bit confusing.
So, as always, we have you covered. These are the
different ways through which you can go ahead and start printing from your
Android device:
Print any document from your Android device (2019)
1. Google Cloud Print
The easiest method is to use the Google Cloud Print
function, which is integrated into most Android smartphones. For this method,
however, you will have to download the Google Cloud Print application. Before
you start printing from your Android smartphone, you will need to add your
printer to Cloud Print. Here is how to do it:
- First, make sure the printer is connected to your PC or Mac through the same network. Then, go to the Google Chrome browser and press the hamburger button on the top right and enter "Settings".
- Inside the Configuration page, scroll down and click "Show advanced settings". Then, look for a subtitle called "Printing" and touch the Print option in Google Cloud.
- Now press the "Manage cloud printing devices" option to open an expanded menu.
- Printers that are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as you and that are available to register will be displayed here. Select the printer you want to connect to and click "Add new printer's."

Note: Make sure that the printers are added in Cloud Print through the same Google account that you use on your Android device, since only then will the printer synchronize with your device.
- Once this is done, the printer will automatically be added to your Google account and you will see it in the "Google Cloud Print" application on your Android device.
Steps to print documents from an Android device
- Open any image or document you want to print on your Android device. Press the three dot button on the top right and select "print."
- The file will be uploaded to the Cloud Print application. Then, use the drop-down menu from the top and choose the printer from which you want to print. Touch the printer icon and your document or image will be printed.

2. Official application of the printer
You can also use the official printer application of the
particular printer you have, to print a document or an image via WiFi. This is
a good way if you do not want to spend the hassle of adding printers manually
through Google Chrome. First, you must download the company's application from
your printer or the print service add-on that allows the printer in the Android
printing menu.
In my case, as you can see, I downloaded the Kyocera
application. You can search for apps for different manufacturers in the Play Store.
Here are some of the most popular:

- HP: HP printing service add-on
- Epson: Epson iPrint or Epson Print Enabler
- Canon: Canon PRINT Inkjet / Selphy or CanonPrint Service
- Samsung:

Once you have installed the appropriate application for your
printer, you must ensure that your Android device and your printer are
connected to the same WiFi network.
3. Using USB or Bluetooth cable
You can even connect your printer via a USB or Bluetooth
cable, however, you will need a printer that supports both parameters. All the
latest Android phones support a USB connection to printers. But if you are
using an older device, you will have to download a third-party application such
as PrintHand to connect to a USB printer.
During our tests, we could not connect any of our phones to
the printer through a USB cable, so we decided to use PrintHand to establish a
connection. To do so, you must first enable the application's access to the
printing services by going to Settings-> Printing. Once activated,
applications allow you to connect to compatible printers via WiFi, Bluetooth,
USB, Cloud Print or remotely. The application may ask you to download the
relevant drivers, so be sure to do it too.

Note: To connect your phone to a printer via USB, you must have a USB 2.0 printer cable and an USB OTG. They are available in online and offline stores.
If your printer supports Bluetooth, then you can use your
Android phone to print the document directly or use PrintHand to establish a
connection using a similar method.
Did you try to print from your Android device?
Although we like CloudPrint since it is natively integrated
into Android, but if you are looking for a unique solution, we recommend that you
use the official application of your printer. Well, these are undoubtedly the
best ways to print any document or image directly from your Android smartphone
or tablet, so if you have never tried to print from your Android device, you
should do it! Let us know if you have any problems, as we are always available
